Jivisha is a vintage handloom jamavar saree woven in pure mulberry silk. She comes in the happiest shade of orange- warm, gold, glamorous. It’s not your regular jamavar but a 10,000 pesley jamavar, start counting now and you’ll stop at the exact number because the weavers did.
The double jamavar weave is worked upon from both front and reverse, giving the saree a clean finish so you could actually drape it from the reverse side too. While the front is vibrant, orange, the reverse is silver, equally well woven.
The saree has hints of green, shyly hidden away in the dense pesley weave. The pallu is again, rooted in the weave, featuring a double panel long pesley weave, all intertwined in one colour.
