The saree begins fresh on a weightless mulberry silk base, following a rich teal or rama green blue shade. It is then carefully, thoroughly hand carved using the most time consuming banarasi Kadhua weave forming meenakari butas all over the saree in soft green and rani pink.
Each buta is outlined with a silver lining.
The contours follow a rich rani base, again sleekly outlined with rama green to match the blouse.
Pallu on the other hand, sits on the green blue base, engraved with tightly secured double panel valkalam weave, almost like a print if you flip it and check.
