Bunch of Grapes 🍇

A saree inspired by the bunch of grapes. Wonder what the artisan must be thinking? Did he see his wife eating grapes and instantly fell in love with her soft side again that he decided to bring his vision to life?

The saree is one of the most intricate pieces of art you’d have seen in your life. Up close, you will notice that what appears like a rich print is hand woven into the fabric forming flowers inspired by dark grape shade with hints of grape leaf green. Each flower is delicately touched with silver.

The borders strike silver diyas layered on top of pesleys dancing in a dense field. On the pallu, intertwined pesleys are engraved with flowers- almost like a mehendi artist does on a bride’s hands.
