Chaandni 🌌
The moon reflects sunlight just the way this saree reflects a diamond like shine. For a fact, diamonds aren’t as rare as she is. It’s just a hidden gem.
Chaandni is woven in 4 ply pure mulberry silk- fluid, soft, easy to drape but also rich and dense.
This is possible the deepest shade of blue, just like the midnight sky. Lauered on it are small grey motifs that merge with bigger silver zari motifs to completely cover the saree in a dense tanchoi + jaal weave.
True that the saree has completely engraved with jaal weave, layered on top of rich tanchoi.
Merging into a shimmery silver pallu, this banarasi completes herself with so much pride, grace, regalness and maturity (well, she is 65 years old).
